In 2026, All Basketball Stars of America Spring AAU Teams will be part of The Hoop Group Academic League and/or The Official American Basketball Circuit Powered by Adidas!

2026 AAU Tryout Fee: $50 per Player ($40 if Registered by January 5, 2026). Tryout Fee includes a Free BSA T-Shirt and as many Tryout Sessions as a Player can attend. Players must attend at least 1 Tryout Session but may attend as many as they want!

2026 BSA Loyalty Pre-Pay for Season Special: Tryout Fee is waived for all Players that Register & Pay In Full for 2026 Spring AAU Season! This is available to all players that have played BSA AAU in the past! If you played for another AAU Program in the past and would like to pre-pay, please call 412-400-1320 for approval.

2026 Spring AAU Season Tuition (after tryout fee) is: 
8th Grade & Below: $650
9th Grade & Above: $700
AAU Program Tuition includes Professional Coaching, 1-2 Practices per week March through May, A Minimum of 10 Weekend Tournaments/Shootouts (The Most of any Program in the Region!). Add $100 to fee if a New BSA Adidas Basketball Uniform (including Jersey, Shorts and Shooting Shirt) is needed. All AAU Players must have BSA Uniforms.

2026 Spring In House Program Registration Fee: $425 per Player ($400 if paid by January 5, 2026). Tryouts are not required for the BSA Spring In House Program, however if a player tries out for AAU then is assigned to or chooses to do In House, they may subtract the Tryout Fee paid from this price! The Spring In House Program includes Professional Coaching, 10 Sunday Evening In House Games and 1 Weeknight Skills practice per week from Late February/Early March through May at your choice of Practice Location: North Hills (Wexford or Gibsonia), South Hills (Bethel Park or Canonsburg), Monroeville (All-American Fieldhouse) & West (Robinson Township Rec Center or Ambridge Area HS Fieldhouse) – See Below for Weeknight Skills Practice Days & Times).

Note that all Practices will be held at your chosen practice site, while Sunday games will rotate among multiple sites in the Pittsburgh area. This is a great program for players of all levels (Beginner & Up) and is Open to Boys & Girls in Kindergarten through 12th grade (Players are split up by age, ability & gender). Add $100 if a New Adidas Basketball Uniform (including Jersey, Shorts and Shooting Shirt) is needed. All In House Players must have BSA Uniforms.

Weekend Skills Program Dates: April 13th to May 18th

2026 Spring Weekend Basketball Skills Programs Registration Fee: $375 Per Player ($350 if paid by January 5, 2026). 2024 Spring Weekend Skills Programs include the BSA Basketball Starter Program for Boys & Girls in PreK, Kindergarten & 1st Grade, Basketball Boot Camps (Open to Boys & Girls in 1st to 6th Grade) and Elite Shooting & Scoring Academy (Open to Boys & Girls in 4th to 12th Grade). BSA Basketball Starter Program: Sundays 9 am to 10 am at BSA Basketball Center – Dates: Sundays, March 1st to May 17th (No Sessions on April 5 or May 10) – Open to Boys & Girls in Pre-K, Kindergarten & 1st Grade – Covers Basic Fundamentals of Basketball with some game play! – Cost: $375 for Full Season (or $350 if paid by January 5, 2026) (10 Sessions) or $45 per session. A BSA Jersey ($35 fee if needed) is required for this program as they do play some games.

Basketball Boot Camp: Sundays 10 am to 11 am at BSA Basketball Center – Dates: Sundays, March 1st to May 17th (No Sessions on April 5 or May 10) – Open to Boys & Girls in 1st to 8th Grade (Players separated by age/ability/gender when available) – Covers all Basketball Skills for Players of All Levels! – Cost: $375 for Full Season (or $350 if paid by January 5, 2026) (10 Sessions) or $45 per session.

BSA Elite Shooting & Scoring Academy: Sundays 11 am to 12 pm at BSA Basketball Center – Dates: Sundays, March 1st to May 17th (No Sessions on April 5 or May 10) – Open to Boys & Girls in 4th to 12th Grade – Program focuses on High Level Skill Development – Includes Guard/Perimeter Skills, Inside Finishing Skills with an extra focus on Shooting & Scoring! – Cost: $375 for Full Season (or $350 if paid by January 5, 2026) (10 Sessions) or $45 per session.

2025-26 BSA Late Winter/Early Spring Pre-Season AAU Skill Development Sessions: These include AAU Pre-Season Elite Skills Sessions, Winter Weeknight Skills & Advanced Skills Sessions and Basketball Boot Camps and are led by top BSA Professional Coaches. These Programs begin in December and run through the end of February and can be purchased for $45 per session, or 3/$125, 5/$200, 10/$375 or 20/$450. Any unused Sessions may be used throughout the Spring!

1. Play on a Circuit! Beginning in 2026, all Basketball Stars of America AAU Teams will participate in the Hoop Group Academic League and/or Official American Basketball Circuit Powered by Adidas!
2. All Teams (AAU & In House) are coached by Professional & Experienced Coaches. Most of our coaches have been with us for at least 5 and many for over 10 years. They include College Head & Assistant Coaches and High School Head & Assistant Coaches. BSA Coaches include: Bay Gordon, Dan DeRose, Steve Scorpion, Nick Dizon, Danny Nee and Daryn Freedman.
3. Organized Practices and Extra Skills: Our experienced coaches know how to run a practice to make their teams better and improve their players individually as well. We also offer players a chance to do Extra Skills training sessions.
4. More Games & Competitions: Our Spring AAU Teams will play in at least 10 Weekend Tournaments. Most other programs only offer 5 or 6 at most. Besides being a Top Program in the Region, Basketball Stars of America is Nationally known as one of the Top 5 Tournament Organizers in the country, so we bring in great competition each weekend. Our teams will also travel to other tournaments. Most of our AAU teams will go to at least 1 or 2 Tournaments outside of the region. As teams get older, they usually travel more than the younger teams. Our In House Teams play in at least 10 Spring Games.
